January, 2009 – Sound Fighter® Systems has introduced its newest sound wall product, the DuoShield® Noise Barrier System. The new DuoShield® System consists of an exterior metal siding, lined with all-weather attenuated sound blankets that face towards the noise source. The system is supported by a framework of structural beams and intermediate supports, and is attached to this framework by provided fasteners. The finished product appears from the outside as a high-end steel building with color-matched trim, only without a roof.
“While our legendary LSE Noise Barrier System remains our primary product and market,” notes Sound Fighter® VP Murray Stacy, “there are many applications that do not require the extreme level of attenuation that the LSE System provides. Our DuoShield® Barrier System offers good overall noise reduction at an economical price, in an aesthetically-pleasing design.”
The DuoShield® Noise Barrier System can be designed in any configuration, and heights to thirty feet. Acoustic performance can also be modified to include STC ratings to 35 and NRC ratings to 0.85. The metal exterior can be made in a variety of colors with complimentary colored trim. Personnel doors and vehicle gates are also available in this system.

Primary markets for Sound Fighter’s new DuoShield® Noise Barriers include the Oil & Gas industry, manufacturing and industrial facilities, public utilities, and commercial HVAC facilities.
